“Through my artistic endeavours, I strive to give life to my affection for the environment in which I live. Traversing landscape, figurative, and abstraction genres, I aim to manifest the essence of this emotional connection. Having divided my experiences of home between Shanghai, China (2009-2015) and Byron Bay, Australia (2015-2023). A prominent body of work, 'Streets of this town,' explores themes of home, belonging, identity, and place. These fundamental concepts serve as the driving force behind my artistic exploration, as I question the human experience and seek to illuminate connections shared with our surroundings in daily life.”
Caitlin's works are featured in collections spanning Australia, Europe, America, and China.
